Back to School Day - October 8th, 2010 2-4 PM

Dear families:

We are excited about our upcoming Back to School event. This is an opportunity for parents and families to meet their child's teacher/s as well as learn more about our educational programs at CSD. We ask that you save this date and plan to attend Back to School afternoon. I want to share some valuable information:

Schedule: Each department will have classroom visits. These will happen at the same time. You are welcome to bring family members so that your family can visit more than one department.

Interpreters: We will be providing ASL and Spanish interpreters. The demand will be very high. If you would like to have an interpreter, please contact Katie Canfield at kcanfield@csdf-cde.ca.gov or 510.344.6064 videophone, by Monday, October 4, 2010.

Childcare: If other arrangements can be made, please do not bring your children to the classroom tour portion of the event. If you will have your children with you, we will provide childcare for the parents of elementary school children only. Parents of middle school and high school students should bring their children with them to the meetings and tours. If you need childcare, please RSVP, kcanfield@csdf-cde.ca.gov or 510.344.6064, for childcare by Monday, October 4, 2010.

Transportation: If your children will stay with you during the event, please arrive by 1:35 p.m. to pick them up. Please sign them out in the office of their departments.
